Children often feel invisible and I am hoping these various stories help to teach them life lessons.
I wish them to know they are important little people. The stories are meant to encourage them and to let them know they can succeed There is a theme of kindness and all also a responsibility.
The story also encourage imagination. Imagination is important in all times of life.
One of the stories that’s fun is about Halloween – it teaches a variety of lessons. It teaches fun – imagination – adventure – kindness – and respect all in one story.
It shows changing one’s views about other children and also about adults.
Some of the stories are about animals.
There are some stories about TV, etc. that may interest them in how people lived before them. Perhaps their grandparents.
The biggest surprise to me is that adults seem to love the stories. It brings back memories to them. Reminds them off when someone read stories to them for instance.
One gentleman said it brought memories of when his mom baked cookies. He was a younger adult and didn’t know what lard was – that was so funny to me!
Before I published the stories, I sent a few to my friends and also to some of my new acquaintances to see what they thought. I was so surprised when they loved them and asked me to send more. That made me very happy.
My granddaughter who I wrote most of the stories for – still uses the pink bubble!! This is a fun thing that we used to do at night before bed!The explanation will have to be in the next book as there are already 80+ stories in this book.
She now is married and has a daughter of her own, Farrah.
This is humorous to me as my son’s favorite actress when he was young was Farrah Fawcett!!
